Polako
Enough Serbian to understand and be understood.
Ten minutes a day, offline, no streaks to protect.
What's in it
- A ten-minute daily session that mixes building phrases from word tiles, decoding them by ear, typing them cold, and saying them out loud.
- Spaced repetition — the same scheduler Anki uses, so what you nearly forgot comes back before you lose it.
- Real phrases, browsable any time — greetings, family, the table, feelings, and the questions people will fire at you.
- Pattern drills that teach Serbian's case endings by feel instead of by chart.
- The whole alphabet in one sitting — Serbian spells exactly as it sounds, so this is all of pronunciation.
- It knows who you are — teaches "gladan sam" or "gladna sam", "ti" or "vi", to match how you'll actually speak.

A note on the voice
- Audio uses whatever text-to-speech voice your phone has. Most have Serbian or Croatian available as a free download in Android Settings → Text-to-speech.
- If only Croatian is there, that's fine — Serbian and Croatian share one letter-for-sound spelling system, so the pronunciation is right and only the accent differs. The app tells you which one it's using.
Teaches Serbian as spoken in Serbia — ekavian, Latin script. What you learn will be understood in Croatia, Bosnia and Montenegro too; the languages share over 90% of their vocabulary.
